The MedSearchr team recently conducted an educational study evaluating the cognitive impacts of student learning habits. Specifically, the study investigated whether structured self-evaluation promotes a deeper conceptual understanding and improves subsequent test retake scores in students, compared to simply searching for an explanation online. The manuscript is currently in preparation and will soon be submitted for peer-review.
